From 2008-2013 i traveled the world and the west coast of the United states as a makeup artist and body painter. I was fortunate to host several body paint theme camps at burning man where I body painted thousands of people all day long. I used the airbrush (a tool i had learned to use as a young boy), sponge and brush.
Oddly, I discovered my passion to serve through the arts in this environment. It was a transformational period of my life. I learned that body painting was likely one of the oldest art forms. Perhaps older than the cave paintings and easily as old as tattoo. I witness adults and children of all ages transform and often have ecstatic and perhaps spiritual experiences by being adorned with make up. I loved the temporal nature of the art. Giving my all, yet knowing that it would be sweated or washed away shortly.
This period was a catalyst for me, i discovered my passion for service through the arts, started learning computer aided design for airbrush , studied sacred geometry, and my desire to improve as an artist grew tremendously at this time. I had found my calling.....
